River Scenes
When I gaze out the window of our living room I oftentimes see these two and pause for a moment to watch them; they come to the river to rinse and wash the dirt off ginseng roots before laying them out to dry. What caught my eye today was that the normally orange-y brown, churned up, muddy river was a beautiful shade of green (who would have thought?). Without thinking twice I grabbed my camera and made my way down to the river bank opposite them and grabbed a few quick shots as I observed them work - from bag, to metal basin, to basket. I wish I could talk to them but I am absolutely certain that we wouldn't understand a word each other said. Maybe one day ...
