The Sojourn Project.
What is the Sojourn Project?
A few years ago, my close friend & business partner Kate blogged under the title "Portraits of a Sojourn."
She fell in love with the idea of documenting a sojourn because the name identified something she felt deep in her heart - the feeling that we are not quite home. A restlessness that runs deep. We are sojourners in a foreign land (Hebrews 11:13). Our stay is temporary and there is little to gain beyond authentic friendships.
What's the Big Idea?
In this next season, I'm challenging myself to document and communicate my story as authentically as possible. The good, the bad, the really bad, and everything in between.
This isn't just about having quality, beautiful images...
My goal is to share the challenges & beautiful first steps toward a life lived passionately. A life that is far from perfect, but packed with adventure. I want to stretch myself as an artist, as well as an individual by rediscovering beauty in the everyday. Meanwhile, I ultimately hope to inspire authenticity.
While our internet access may go out or be limited at times, I will catch up on posting when possible & share our story with you as we go. Follow me on instagram for more of the sojourn project.
